Let It Come, Let It Go
The next stop on this journey takes us to a singalong, where every other line is “Let it come, let it go.” This song is inspired by another lovely piece of art by Kristiana Parn. Its title reminds me to soak in each moment, and then let it blow away like the wind. The track features my beloved bandmates from Dan Zanes and Friends, plus Claudia Eliaza and my favorite horn section, Alex and Nathan.

A wave of sorrow washes over me (let it come, let it go)
There are people saying i can’t be me (let it come, let it go)
Let it come, let it go
Let it drift in the river and flow
Let it come, let it go
Until the evening begins to glow
Summer cools with the autumn breeze (let it come, let it go)
And the winter winds shake bare the trees (let it come, let it go)
Let it come, let it go
Let it drift in the river and flow
Let it come, let it go
Let the chorus begin to grow
Let it come, let it go
Let it drift in the river and flow
Let it come, let it go
Until the evening begins to glow
A joyous choir sounds above (let it come, let it go)
They're shouting songs of peace and love (let it come, let it go)
Let it come, let it go
Let it drift in the river and flow
Let it come, let it go
Let the chorus begin to grow
We’ve faced our wildest joys and fears (let it come, let it go)
As the daylight ends and the evening nears (let it come, let it go)
Let it come, let it go
Let it drift in the river and flow
Let it come, let it go
Let the chorus begin to go
